Jesus is a Better Priest, Part 2

As we saw last week, the author of Hebrews is writing to a group of Jewish people whose spiritual commitment ranged from sold-out supporters of Jesus to people on the edge of belief. The pattern of the  writer of Hebrews is to compare Jesus’ supremacy to some feature of he Old Covenant that the Jews had lived under previously. In doing so, we gain unique insights into the value and worth of Jesus for our lives as well.
