What’s the Difference Between a Religion and a Relationship with God? Part II

We gather together today to celebrate and honor the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Have you taken time to consider how incredible that sounds?  It is not just us celebrating this understanding, millions of people believe that there was a man who was also God (the God/man) who was savagely killed and then rose from the grave after three days. Are we strange for believing this?  We also believe that Jesus is the only way to God and that all other efforts to gain access to God are faulty and wrong.  Are we arrogant?  Today we will continue to look at the difference between religion and a relationship through the eyes of Jesus’ teaching.
