2026 Bible Reading Challenge  

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

God’s Word is His direct and special revelation of Himself to His people. It contains everything needed for a life of godliness. In it we encounter the life-giving affection-stirring God who created, sustains, and redeemed His work and His people.

At Grace Fellowship our goal for 2026 is to read through the Bible in one year. For many this may seem a daunting goal but it is one that can be accomplished. To that end, we have two different reading plans for you to choose from if you decide to join us in fully reading through the Bible 2026.

The first plan is known as the Five Day Bible Reading Plan. This plan calls for daily reading five days per week allowing for two days of catch up, other Bible reading, or other spiritual disciplines. The OT reading is arranged as chronologically as possible. This is for those who like to have a granular plan and who like to check off boxes as each day is completed.

The other plan is known as the Legacy Bible Reading Plan. This plan is much more free-form and undirected. It calls for particular books to be read in certain months and then the rest is up to you. The readings for each quarter are uniform in quantity and this plan will have you read Proverbs multiple times throughout the year.
