Indicative & Imperative
(1 Peter 3:8-12)
As we continue in our special series from 1 Peter, we see how Peter encourages his readers to BE who they ARE. They have been made holy and the imperative is to BE holy. This has tremendous implications in disciple-making. How we relate to one another INSIDE the church is going to be the “practice field” where we perfect our holiness walk. And when we walk in holiness—especially in the face of sharp opposition from unbelievers—the fame of God is amped up…to 11!
