Every year the North American Mission Board (NAMB) supports more than 5,000 missionaries who serve primarily as church planters throughout the United States and Canada. Church planting is an effective strategy in North America to advance God’s kingdom. Evangelical church planting creates the opportunity for people to hear and respond in faith to Christ and nurtures new believers through discipleship. Church planting is never an end in itself — each church planted has a goal of multiplication, so the gospel can be spread and God’s kingdom advanced.
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is the primary funding channel for NAMB’s church planting strategy. One hundred percent of gifts given to AAEO are used to support missionaries serving in the United States and Canada. Here’s how NAMB uses those dollars:
